This was a tough one to build. I had never before messed with odd curvatures and didn’t know how it would blend with the outside space we had made. Was it too rustic? Was it too modern? We were aiming for a comfortable, open environment – a place to have conversations and coffee, perhaps with some wine. We thought this design met the criteria and I set out to create my first set. There were challenges, but those were quickly overcome. In the end we opted for a red cedar outdoor stain and cherry red cushions that can be purchased at Home Depot. How are they? One year later and they are still looking great. A little clean up of dirt from the feet will have them looking good as new. If you have any questions about this build, feel free to reach out.
